Emerging tennis prodigy Jennifer Luikham from Gurgaon, who is turning 11 on October 3rd 2010, created another sensation by scoring double triumph in both singles title in U14 and U16 categories for girls in the AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament concluded on October 1st 2010 at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi.
In the finals of U 14 girls category, Jennifer, after loosing the first set by 6-7(5-7) against Arushi Bhasin, came back strongly by claiming the second and third sets by 6-2 and 7-5.
Whereas in U 16, in a match lasting for more than 3 hours, she led the charge with first set score of 7-5 against Charoo Agarwal only to struggle in the second set to loose at 4-6 but by claiming thirds set by 7-5.
In the boys' U-16 singles final, Kapil Ghuriya of Haryana ended the challenge of Dhivyansh Khatri with an emphatic 6-3 and 7-5 win.
In the boys' U-14 singles final, Gagan Sharma of Rajasthan won the final with 6-4 and 6-2 score.
Incidentally, Jennifer has won all the TS Series All India AITA tournaments in September in NCR region in U12, U14 and U16 groups.
