It is reported that the cold rolling plant of Liaoning Province based Chinese steelmaker Angang has lately commenced production of TRIP780 steel sheets.

Thus, this mill becomes the first Chinese supplier of TRIP780 steel the highest strength steel used in automotive steel sheets to the domestic market.

TRIP780 steel is generally characterized by low content of carbon, aluminum and silicon.
