China Knowledge reported that Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Corp or JAC China leading exporter of light trucks net profit attributable to shareholders plunged 36.93% YoY to CNY 315.07 million in the first half of this year.

Basic earnings per share for the period were CNY 0.24% down by 38.46%YoY. The company's operating revenue reached CNY 14.42 billion in the six-month period reflecting a YoY decrease of 17.32%.

The Chinese automaker sold 226,000 vehicles and chassis in the first half of this year down by 15.69%YoY. The firm's auto and chassis output dropped 14.15% YoY to 216,700 units during the period.

From January of June, JAC saw its auto export declined 11.92% YoY to 31,300 units. Last year the company auto export skyrocketed 207.19% YoY to 66,000 units.
