Anyang Steel H1 earnings up by 42pct YoY

It is reported that Anyang Iron and Steel posted a 41.93%YoY increase in first half 2011 net profit to CNY 71.49 million with earnings per share of CNY 0.03.
Sales revenue rose 27.75%YoY to CNY 17.24 billion.
The steelmaker attributed the improved earnings to good steel sales, and to an increase in gross profit margins.
