It is reported that Argentina government has announced to cancel anti dumping investigation on China’s steel piping and tubular products used in oil and petroleum industries, which include the piping products in welded and seamless types, in outside diameter of less than 273.1mm, with tread or non tread.
In fact, Argentina's government started to investigate into China’s oil country tubular goods piping product, according to the request of SIDERCA SAIC and TUBHIER SA on November 3rd 2009 and found the fact that large quantity of China's imports did jeopardize the interest of domestic producers in the past two year, and subsequently the punitive duty of 201.71% was determined by the National Foreign Trade Commission.
However, last week the government decided not to impose punitive duties against China’s goods for the sake of bilateral trade and not bring the trade war with China.
