It is reported that Mr Xu Lejiang Chairman of BaoSteel claimed they are accelerating enterprise transformation and upgrades from steel to raw material from manufacture to service and from China to world.

In the next ten years, they aim to reduce steel capacity of 3 million tonnes in Shanghai to echo the new projects of Zhanjiang steel project and Bayi Steel southern Xinjiang project.
