BaoSteel chairman Mr Xu Lejiang of the Group Corporation met the visiting president Mr Chen Wei of Hay Group North eastern Area in Baosteel Tower.

Both parties exchanged views on the current market economy situation and the direction of Baosteel development in future etc.

Hay Group is a global management consulting firm that works with leaders to transform strategy into reality makes change happen and helps people and organizations realize their potential. It serves the clients from the private, public and not for profit sectors all over the world and provides management consulting services to many large central enterprises in China. Baosteel carried out many cooperation’s with Hay Group in recent years.

In the meeting, Mr Xu Lejiang pointed out that as the Chinese enterprises keep developing, internationalization is the inevitable trend for which information support from the experienced management consulting company is required. Now the overcapacity and increasingly intensified competition of Chinese steel industry has brought much challenges to Baosteel. Baosteel has mapped out the new round development strategy and Baosteel is in the crucial stage of enterprise transformation and second pioneering.

He wished that Hay Group could further exert the advantages to give counsels to Baosteel development and looked forward to more opportunities for cooperation between both parties. Chen Wei expressed that Hay Group is willing to deepen the cooperation with Baosteel and set up closer cooperative relationship with Baosteel.
