According to Inner Mongolia based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co up to December 5 its wire rod output this year has already reached 700,000 tonnes which is its targeted wire rod output volume for the whole of the current year. Meanwhile, Baogang wire rod exports in the given period totaled 176,000 tonnes equal to 25.5% of its wire rod output for the period.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the high speed wire rod production line of Baogang Group subsidiary Baogang Wanteng Iron and Steel Co. was commissioned on November 8 this year.
