Owing to high quality and low price, Baosteel is making a solid way in entering into S. Korea market. Now Baosteel is doing auto sheet OEM service via two native service centers: Kibosteel and Daesungsteel, two subsidies of Hysco. Meanwhile, all the products will be supplied to GM based in South Korea.

Baosteel initial plan is to build cold rolled SSC plant, however the cold rolled processing oversupply in S. Korea made this company changed its idea.

With competitive price advantage, Baosteel will continue to expand its supply for GM and is looking for another cold rolled SSC.
