Xinjiang Bayi Steel signed collaboration agreement with Gansu Benma Group, supplying 40,000 tonnes medium and heavy plates in construction of power generation base. Jiuquan, Gansu would be the first market of wind-generated electricity outside Xinjiang Autonomous Region.

Previous Xinjiang Bayi Steel plate products sold outside the autonomous region were mainly for machinery manufacturing and metallic container processing. The collaboration enables Xinjiang Bayi Steel to further expand plate market share outside Xinjiang and pave the way for product acknowledgement in power generation by wind energy.
