Mr He Wenbo President of Baosteel Group Corporation met with Mr Hurukawa President of Hanwa Japan and his colleagues at Baosteel Tower. The two sides exchanged views on the issues of mutual interests.

Hanwa Japan is a listed company in Japanese founded in 1947. It is integrated trading company, operating as the core business of steel, which also runs the nonferrous metal, food, fuel, chemicals, wood and machinery etc. It owns more than 30 branch companies and representative offices all over the world. And the earliest project it invested in mainland China has a history of over 20 years.

Mr He Wenbo welcomed Mr Hurukawa and his colleagues. He said there is friendly cooperation for years between Baosteel and Mr Hurukawa. The diligent and prudent management style of Hanwa Japan is worth Baosteel learning and using for reference. He hoped that both sides could keep the high level exchanges to actively expand cooperation channels.

Mr Hurukawa briefly introduced the company production and operation, and said that Hanwa Japan would like as always to strengthen cooperation with Baosteel to seek win-win development.

The two sides also had in-depth exchanges on issues such as Chinese steel industry development trend and steel industry chain extension.
