According to statistics, Baotou Steel Sheet Plant accumulatively exports 524,000 tonnes steel from January to October, accounting for 70% of the group's total exports. Sheet products exported to South Korea, Philippines, Vietnam and other four countries include hot rolled coil, galvanized sheet, CR hard coil, CR skin pass coil and medium plate.

Steel sheet exports prove to be growing although domestic steel market remains austere, especially galvanized sheet and medium plate market presents to be outstanding. From January to October, steel sheet plants mainly export galvanized sheet of SGCC and DX51D+Z that used in construction field about 220,000 tonnes. In addition, in the first ten months of the Sheet Plant, medium plate exports totaled 130,000 tonnes.
