Baotou Steel wire rod plant realized an annual production of 700,000 tonnes as of December 5, 27 days ahead of schedule.

From early this year, Baotou Steel's wire rod plant is optimizing the organization of production, enhancing processing control to reduce production fluctuation through implementing the policy of “producing high-quality product and guarantee sufficient demand” and in the spirit of steady production, high quality and efficiency.

¢5.5mm and ¢6.5mm wire rod and SWRCH82B product are welcomed in the market due to high quality with yield and qualification rate achieves as much as 97.74% and 99.78% respectively.

In particular, confronting with fierce competition, the plant enhances effort to expand export with annual export hitting 176,000 tonnes, occupying 25.5% among all exports.
