On August 18, 460mm seamless pipe product line of Baotou Steel was put into production. The startup was congratulated by many enterprises.

Mr Zhang Zhide General Manager of Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co Ltd, one of manufacturer of the product line, expressed his gratitude to Baotou Steel's trust and will return with world-class quality and service.

CEO of the project's technological support SMS said "460 line is the 12th line of SMS in China and the 19th in the world.”

Mr Li Chunlong, General Manager of Baotou Steel (Group) said "460 line is the 6th seamless pipe product line of Baotou Steel, and brings our seamless pipe capacity over 2 million tonnes."
