It is reported that Liaoning Province based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Co its 2,300mm continuous hot rolling mill now has the capacity to produce 5.15 million tonnes of hot rolled coils per year.

The 2,300mm continuous hot rolling mill was commissioned in 2008 and its total production has reached 10.53 million tonnes since it started its production operations.

In May this year, its output exceeded 400,000 tonnes in a single month for the first time
