It is reported that Chengde Steel, a subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group, has successfully developed 600 tonnes of X60 oil pipeline steel in its No 2 steel making plant, which further promotes the products mix adjustment and market exploration.

In recent years, along with the development of oil and natural gas, the high grade large caliber pipeline steel was widely used in some large projects. The company decided to roll out X60 pipeline steel according to the market demands.
