It is reported that Hebei Province based Chinese steel producer Chengde Steel has recently succeeded in developing vanadium added 30MnSi wire rod, producing 3,000 tonnes at the request of customers.

Vanadium added 30MnSi wire rod is mainly used for the construction of tubular piles in high rise buildings. The product in question has high strength and is easy to weld.
