Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group's subsidiary Chengde Iron & Steel International Trade Co, which is in charge of the group's sales business, has recently signed an export contract with a New Zealand buyer for about 1,250 tonnes of rebar, with a sales value worth CNY 0.6 billion more than in the domestic market.

This is the second time Chengde Iron and Steel, the producer in question which is a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, will export to the overseas market.
