It is reported that Chengde Xinxin Vanadium & Titanium Co reported revenue of CNY 10.1 billion in H1 of 2008 up by 57% YoY from the same period last year.

Chengde Xinxin Vanadium & Titanium total profit surged 18% to CNY 331 million with net profit belonging to parent company at 233 CNY million. And the mill churned out 73,500 tonnes of vanadium slag, 2.06 million tonnes of crude steel and 2.01 million tonnes of finished products in the same period.

The nice performance was achieved amidst a series of disadvantages like the spiking raw materials prices, strained supply, disrupted railway transport and the volatile steel market.
