China Knowledge reported that China Huadian Corp, one of the five largest state owned power generation enterprises in China is planning to issue CNY 7 billion worth of notes with a maturity of five years by the end of the month.

A person familiar with the matter said the issuer plans to complete the note issue through a private placement, adding that China Construction Bank Corp and China Everbright Bank Co Ltd have been assigned as the joint lead underwriters.
One of the issuer subsidiaries Huadian Power International Corp, China largest independent power producer has issued CNY 5 billion of five year notes with a coupon rate of 5.74%.
