
Xinhua reported that China northern Tianjin based economical passenger carmaker Tianjin FAW Xiali Automobile Co Ltd saw its sales volume in October rise 10%YoY to 16,080 units.
The company said in a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange that the automaker produced 17,600 units of vehicles last month a 13% increase from the previous year,
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said combined vehicle sales volume in China jumped 72% in October to 1.22 million units from a year earlier after gaining 78% in September.
Robust domestic sales have been spurred by the government taxcut and subsidy measures meant to stimulate consumption and encourage purchase of more fuel-efficient vehicles.
