
According to the most recent data issued by the China Iron and Steel Association, in early January China average daily output of crude steel stood at 1.69 million tonnes increasing by 64,100 tonnes or 3.94% compared to the average for the whole of the previous month.
The average daily crude steel output volume in early January this year indicated a decrease of 9.17% as compared to China average daily crude steel output in 2011.
In January, the average daily steel sales of the entire CISA 76 member steel companies amounted to 1.09 million tonnes decreasing by 338,300 tonnes or 23.68% from late December 2011 and down 15.34% compared to the average daily sales volume recorded in the whole of 2011.
