Xinhua reported that China's crude oil output hit 93.49 million tonnes in the H1 a decrease of 1%YoY.

The National Development and Reform Commission said in a report that China's refineries processed 175.13 million tonnes of crude oil in the H1 up by 1.5%YoY from the same period last year

Gas production reached 42 billion cubic meters, an increase of 7.6%YoY. The growth rate was 9.7 percentage points lower than the same period last year.

In the first five months, China's petroleum and petrochemical industry reported profits of CNY 94.7 billion down by 35.4%YoY over the same period last year. Oil and gas exploration industry saw profits drop 75.8% from a year earlier to stand at CNY 49.4 billion in the H1.
