China Knowledge reported that China Railway Erju Co Ltd has secured a construction contract with the bid price of CNY 1.69 billion.

The Chengdu-headquartered company said it has been informed that it won the bidding of the ZH-3 section south of the Yangtaishan Tunnel, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong passenger dedicated line which is expected to be completed within 598 days.

As of October 10th 2008, CREC and its affiliated companies have won public biddings for CNY 22.66 billion worth of construction projects, more than double of the company's target of RMB 17.9 billion set for the whole year in 2008 and the total contract value of CNY 19.32 billion in 2007.
