New Express Daily quoted National Development and Reform Commission said domestic vehicle prices fell 1.18%YoY in 36 major cities in June.

Prices of domestic passenger vehicle fell 1.41%YoY in June with commercial vehicle price down 0.79%. Prices of imported vehicles fell 0.37%MoM in June compared to 0.33%MoM increase last month of which price of imported automobile and SUVs rose 0.67% and 0.08%MoM respectively.

Mr Cheng Xiaodong chief analyst of the NDRC Price Element Office with the increase production capacity of vehicles in the latter half of 2011 vehicle prices will continue to fall during that period.
