It is reported that export quotation of rebar by Chinese steelmakers remains to be weak recently.

As per report, taking such spec with KS certificate as a benchmark one of Chinese mills offer USD 520 per tonne currently lower than USD 525 per tonne in early October or USD 530 per tonne in September. Albeit, the decrease rate has been restricted much compared with that in previous time.

One steel trader unveiled that "The price is on the increase on Chinese domestic market hence export price of Chinese rebar is not likely to fall further."
