China Knowledge reported that China Datang Group, parent of the listed electricity producer Datang International Power Generation Co plans to develop new energy projects at Wuwei in Gansu Province.

Datang Group said in a news briefing that it has signed a strategic cooperation and investment agreement with Wuwei Government. Pursuant to the agreement, both parities will jointly promote the construction of a batch of new energy projects and build new energy power generation base, thus to make Wuwei an important new energy base in Gansu Province.

However, the briefing did not indicate the details of the agreement.
