Sichuan Province based Chinese steelmaker Dazhou Iron and Steel Group in 2011 it produced 2.751 million tonnes of pig iron, 2.9693 million tonnes of crude steel and 2.9062 million tonnes of finished steel respectively up 56.69%YoY, 46.56%YoY and 44.96%YoY.

The steel producer sales revenue in 2011 amounted to CNY 20.4 billion while it stated that it is targeting sales revenue of CNY 23 billion in 2012.

At present, Dazhou Steel Group designed annual output capacity of pig iron is 3 million tonnes while its crude steel and finished steel output capacities stand at 3.5 million tonnes and 3.2 million tonnes respectively
