Chinese steelmaker Dongbei Special Steel Company has announced that in 2011 its crude steel output reached 1.87 million tonnes up 10.7% while its finished steel production totaled 1.61 million tonnes up 10.8% both YoY. The steel producer’s operating revenue in 2011 reached CNY 1.68 billion up 15.6% while its net profit totaled CNY 170 million.

For 2012, Dongbei Special Steel is targeting a crude steel output of 3.2 million tonnes and a finished steel output of 2.72 million tonnes an operating revenue of CNY 2.36 billion and a net profit of CNY 430 million.
