According to China’s Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co Ltd has recalled 2,270 Civic sedans which were produced between September 26 and November 17 of this year.
The announcement said workers forgot to install self-locking nuts in the steering boxes of some vehicles which may cause steering wheels to rotate right when they are turned far left, posing safety risks.
The company is a joint venture between China’s Dongfeng Motor Group and Honda Motor Co of Japan.
