EU cuts AD duty on Chinese screws and bolts

It's reported that on October 10th 2012, the EU stated that it has cut antidumping duty on Chinese made screws and bolts according to WTO's ruling on miscalculation levied on earlier.

In 2009, EU imposed anti dumping duties ranging from 26.5% to 85% on screws and bolts imported from China, which are widely used in the automotive, white goods and mechanical devices, involving more than 200 Chinese enterprises. In 2007, imports of the product concerned in the EU amounted to EUR 575 million.

On July 31st 2009, China reported the case to WTO dispute settlement mechanism. By July 15th 2011, WTO made the final ruling in favor of China. According to the ruling, the EU has cut AD duties to the range of 22.9% to 74.1%.
