It is reported that Panzhihua Steel Rolling Mill, a branch company of Panzhihua Gangcheng Group Co Ltd has supplied 3 million tonnes of rebar to the construction of Panzhihua section along Lijiang-Panzhihua highway, which is a crucial part of Yibin-Panzhihua highway and also an important link between Beijing-Kunming highway and Dali-Lijiang highway covering 50.289 kilometers with bridge tunnel ratio up to 66% and 3 of the total 66 bridges striding over Jinshajiang River all requiring high properties of rebar.

As the largest producer of high-quality construction steel in west Panzhihua and one of the leading companies that can produce HR rebar HRB400, Panzhihua Steel Rolling Mill won 80% of the total 11 contracts for rebar in the construction of Panzhihua section along Lijiang-Panzhihua highway as the rebar made in the Mill are of good properties like high content of vanadium, good yield strength and strong anti-corrosion.
