China Knowledge reported that Great Wall Motor Co Ltd one of the leading manufacturers of pick up trucks in China auto sales in July surged 67.9% YoY to 49,600 units mainly boosted by good sales of its Hover H6.

Last month, the sales of Hover model surged 174.9% YoY to 25,500 units including 13.258 units of Hover H6.

The company saw its sales of sedans and pickups rose 16.4% and 22% from a year earlier to 13,200 units and 11,000 units in July respectively.

In the first seven months of this year, the Chinese automaker auto sales totalled 329,000 units, reflecting a YoY increase of 22.8%. The sales of Hover model amounted to 134,800 units during the period up by 55.6% YoY. Meanwhile, the company's auto export rose 47% from a year earlier to 58,000 units in the seven-month period.
