At the end of December 2011, Handan Steel of Hebei Steel Group received an order for 8,100 tonnes of prepainted plate from Israel, for two-layer construction plate use. By January 4 2012, production of this product reaches 220 tonnes with a top-grade yield ratio of 100%.

There are totally 23 grades for this product, with thickness ranging 0.4 mm to 0.73mm and width 1,000 mm to 1,220mm.

During the producing procedure, Handan Steel set the standard for glossiness at 35%±5%, even stricter than the European standard of 30%±10%.
