It is reported that Handan Steel under Hebei Steel Group lately exported a big batch of wheel steels to the Occident, Korea, Middle East, South Africa, Russia and Japan successfully entering into the supply market for International auto making.

After the check of Korea Testing and Research Institute for Chemical Industry, all the technical indicators of the wheel steel, produced in the new plant of Handan Steel are proved qualified. Since KOTRIC is one of the institutes accepted by the international testing center, Handan Steel’s wheel steel has already won the acceptance of the world.

As learned, the wheel steels are mainly churned out in the 2250mm HR line of the new plant of Handan Steel. The new plant has made great efforts to develop the steel product which can generate CNY 230 per tonne of profit more than other steel products.

In addition, the new plant built as the technology upgrading project, already developed about 31 specs of steel products in plates, HR, CR and pickling series. Meanwhile, the plant also churned out the X80 pipeline steel which won the check of SCPC China largest oil & gas producer and supplier.
