Hebei Steel Group announced construction steel settlement price for January based on mid January booking price.

III grade rebar from Tangshan Steel, Xuanhua Steel and Chengde Steel: down CNY30 per tonne.

Others: unchanged

Now HPB235 Φ6.5mm high speed wire rod from Tangshan Steel, Xuanhua Steel and Chengde Steel is settled at CNY4120 per tonne, HRB335 Φ18mm to 25mm rebar at CNY4030 per tonne, HRB400 Φ18mm to 25mm rebar at CNY4150 per tonne and HRB400 Φ8mm to 12mm coiled rebar at CNY4120 per tonne.

Small rebar has a price makeup of CNY 100 per tonne on the basis of large rebar price.

All the prices above include VAT and take effect from January 1-31 2012.
