China Knowledge reported that Beiqi Foton Motor Company Limited of China sold a total of 605,800 trucks including trailers in China last year ranking first in the top ten automaker list released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers or CAAM.

Dongfeng Automobile Company Limited ranked second with sales of 603,500 trucks followed by Faw Car Company Limited with 274,800 units, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Company Limited with 244,000 units, Shenyang Jinbei Automotive Company Limited with 183,100 units, Sinotruck Group with 158,700 units, Chongqing Changan Automobile Company Limited with 134,900 units, Jiangling Motors Corporation Limited with 127,000 units, Great Wall Motor Company Limited with 121,700 units and Shaanxi Automobile Group Company Limited with 107,600 units.

The combined truck sales of the ten automakers amounted to 2.56 million units last year accounting for 72% of the total truck sales in China.

Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Company Limited a JV between Brilliance China Automotive Holding Limited and Shenyang Jinbei Automotive topped China's bus sales in 2011 with 89,500 buses that were sold followed by Jiangling Motors with 56,800 buses and Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Company Limited with 46,700 buses.
