According to Gansu Province based Chinese steel company Jiugang Steel Group Co on November 10 production operations commenced at two new hot air furnaces at its Lanzhou, Gansu-based subsidiary Yuzhong Iron and Steel Co.

A Gansu based subsidiary of Chinese state-run general construction contractor 17th China Metallurgical Construction Corporation was responsible for construction work on the project which took five months to complete.
