It is reported that Huadian Energy will sell its equities in Guotai Junan Securities and its assets in Harbin Thermal Power in order to supplement its cash flows.

Huadian Energy will sell its 3.04 million shares in Guotai Junan Securities for CNY 51.27 million. It injected CNY 974,300 into Guotai Junan Securities recently.

The assets that Huadian Energy will sell include the No.5 and No.6 power generators in Harbin Thermal Power together worth CNY 44 million.

Huadian Energy will use the cash from its equity and asset sales to expand its power and coal businesses.
