China Huaneng Group, one of the top 5 state owned power generation enterprises in China, announced that its revenue hit CNY 151.3 billion last year up by 30.9%YoY.

In 2008, the company's installed capacity rose 19.9% to 85,860 kilowatt, of which 10.5% were from domestic power generating facilities.

The electricity output of its domestic power plants amounted to 364.5 billion kWh in 2008 up by 11.5% YoY. The output of coal surged 28.6% to 21.88 million tonnes.
