According to Mr Sun Wei assistant president of China State Shipbuilding Corporation that, Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co is the largest supplier of shipbuilding plate for CSSC.

In the January to August period of this year, CSSC purchased 542,000 tonnes of shipbuilding plate from the steelmaker higher than in the corresponding period of last year.

Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co annual capacity of shipbuilding plate is 5 million tonnes ranking second in China.
