Yonhap citing Mr Chung Mong koo chairman of Hyundai Motor Co Chairman as saying that the company is considering building a third plant in China as it expects sales to soar in the world's only growing major auto market.

He said at a meeting of South Korean journalists in Beijing that "I will push forward it gradually, referring to the third plant when asked on whether Hyundai would build it in China.”

He didn't elaborate further and company officials say no details, including when construction would begin and the output capacity of the planned third plant have been decided.
