Jiangsu Baosteel steel wire 1st phase project invested by Baosteel Metal is put into construction.

This marks Baosteel formal entry into the high grade wire rod product field.

After the completion of the project, Baosteel will open up wire rod product industrial chain of steel cord wire rod and finished products.

Jiangsu Baosteel precision steel wire project is located in Jiangsu Haimen Haibao Industrial Park and is mainly engaged in auto tire steel cord wire and the photovoltaic industry cut steel wire products.

The project will be constructed in two phases. The 1st phase will be put into production before the end of this year and will produce 50,000 tonnes of precision steel wire. Baosteel Metal also plans second phase project at the same time and the two phases' precision steel wire annual capacity in total will reach 100,000 tonnes.
