It is reported that Gansu Province based Chinese steel producer Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group in the January to October period this year it produced 110,000 tonnes of 82B wire rod. Meanwhile, the tensile strength of the steelmaker's 82B wire rod has been raised by 20-30 MPa, surface quality has been improved and 99.95% of output is in line with required standards.

Jiuquan Steel expects the improvement in the quality of its 82B wire rod to contribute to increasing its profit margin and consolidating its market share for the product.
