Lianyuan Steel X80 HR coil passes a performance testing carried out by an expert group of China National Petroleum Corporation, and then successfully gains the qualification. This signifies Lianyuan Steel’s R&D and productive capability on variety steel stepping onto a new stage with the product finding its way into high-grade steel pipeline market.

It can be tracing back to 2009 that Lianyuan Steel rolled X80 steel pipelines. Meanwhile, the mill is capable to produce all marks of pipeline products ranging form X42 to X80. In 2010, Lianyuan Steel signs 4600 tonnes of X60 and X65 pipeline agreement with PSL. And X70 pipeline enters Kazakhstan construction market in 2011.
