It is reported that Guangxi Province-based Chinese company Liuzhou Steel Group commissioned its reconstructed 150 tonnes converter which represents the start of the group's reconstruction of its small converters.

Liuzhou Steel Group annual crude steel production capacity is expected to be increased by 3 million tonnes with the start of production at the 150 tonnes converter.
