
China Knowledge reported that Guangdong Province in South China is expected to become the first province in China to achieve an annual gross domestic product of more than CNY 5 trillion in 2011.
Jiangsu Province in East China and Shandong Province may see their GDP exceed CNY 4 trillion last year.
Liaoning Province in Northeast China and Sichuan Province in Southeast China expected their GDP to exceed CNY 2 trillion taking the number of provinces with GDP of between RMB 2 trillion and CNY 4 trillion to five including Zhejiang Province, Henan Province and Hebei Province.
A total of 22 provinces in China are estimate to each have GDP of at least CNY 1 trillion five more than in 2010.
