The steel prices in Chinese domestic market continued sloping gradient in the last 1 months unimpeded. However in the last fortnight the slide has decelerated probably signifying depletion of stock demand remaining unchanged.

There was a minor correction of 1% in long product prices however flat prices remained unchanged with a small slide of CNY 20 in HRC. These insignificant aberrations in price doest not augur any definite trend of revival. It can at the best be imputed to demand supply correction in the short term which is likely to even out in the absence of substantial demand revival both within China and Internationally.
