It is reported that Mr Shen Wenrong chairman of Shagang Group, topped the list of Chinas richest steel tycoons released by the 2009 Hurun Report with a personal wealth of CNY 15 billion followed by Mr Du Shuanghua, the last years top slot with 14.5 billion and Mr Zhang Zhixiang with CNY 13.5 billion.
Eight of the 31 entrepreneurs nominated on the list are either NPC members or CPPCC members. Two of the top ten run listed companies.
