China Knowledge reported that Nissan Motor Co, Japan No 2 automaker by volume after Toyota Motor Corp auto sales in China rose 10.3%YoY to 119,200 units last month.

The growth rate was 9.8 percentage points lower than it realized in May 2012.

From January to June 2012, the automaker China sales amounted to 678,000 units reflecting a YoY increase of 14%.

Dongfeng Nissan Auto Co a joint venture between China Dongfeng Automobile Co Ltd and Japan Nissan Motor Co sold 86,400 units in China last month, leading its total sales in the first half of 2012 to 454,800 units up by 21.7% YoY.
